There are many reasons why you might need temporary extra resources, for example parental leave, illness, employees being on leave, or maybe parallel projects that are causing an extra workload for a period of time.
The need may not always be for a full-time position, which can make it more difficult to find an available resource. Sometimes there is only a need for a few days at period end and sometimes there is a need for much more. Addedo offers resource consulting.
Our advantage is that we already know your system. Normally, we quickly grasp your accounting process and your business. Many of our consultants see it as an advantage to get resource assignments every now and then to keep our wide accounting knowledge up to date. We also have the advantage of often being able to adapt to the level of help you need and to any changing requirements over time. Try us and you’ll have an extra backup for the future!
Addedo’s standard methodology consists of five phases with a workflow for project management:
1. REQUIREMENTS, ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
Define the contents of the solution; properties and non-functional attributes. Identify solution components and dependencies. To avoid inaccurate prioritization’s that could be caused by agile methodology, waterfall methodology is sometimes used with a detailed description/analysis of the solution
2. MODEL, BUILD AND TEST (PROJECT STATUS REPORTING)
Create models, build and integrate components. Iterative testing of components individually, interactively and from a system perspective. In accordance with agile methodology components are sometimes built in three categories: basic, extended functionality and fine-tuning. The methodology ensures that changes and development of components don’t affect other areas in the system. This is done by parallel testing of the new and the current system.
Testing is done on an ongoing basis in the project and ends with a decision point.
4. SYSTEM OPERATIONS
Final and comprehensive delivery accepted, including system documentation. This phase represents the usage of the solution. The basic idea when implementing a solution is that we teach the client how to take control of it. The client should be prepared to receive the solution. This requires a readiness and internal competence from the client.
The client owns their solution but at the same time feel that they have Addedo’s support and that they can get help on an ad-hoc basis by competent consultants. In other cases, however, the client wants Addedo to take responsibility for maintenance also after the implementation. We currently do this in a handful of cases. We deliver an ongoing support with issue handling and follow-up. In parallel we run development projects with the client within the same maintenance assignment.
